At Ridd's Aqua Centre we have always tested your pool water for free. This service combined with expert advice has brought more customers into our stores than any other.
The South African industry standard has been to use titration and reagents that change colours to determine the balance of the water. Although an experienced pool expert is likely to give you you good results using these methods, there are factors that would skew some of the results. Lighting, human perception, temperature and other similar factors all influence the results.
It is for this reason that Ridd's Aqua Centre has introduced photometers into its stores.
Photometers use a light source and photo-sensitive cells to accurately determine the specified test results, accurately and quickly every time, these results are then entered into our computer software and the corrective measures are recommended.
Unlike a lot of our competition we feel total transparency is required when recommending treatment regimes for pools. Our chemicals say what they are and say what they do, no obscure names designed to confuse the consumer.
By keeping you, the customer, informed we believe that you can rest assured that we have tackled your pool problem in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
The Photometer's have now been implemented in the Nelspruit and Westrand stores and will be available in Bryanston very soon.
